Yellow group

Dear Mommies and Daddies!

We are looking forward to welcoming 17 children into our little group on the 1st of September. Our 9 girls and 8 boys can get to know us and the kindergarten in the coming weeks. We will introduce them to life in little group and will share many experiences together. There will be lots of story-telling, verses, drawing, singing and we will get plenty of exercise and fresh air in our lovely garden. After settling in quickly and smoothly, alongside our English teachers and nanny we will strive to end the year as a happy, assembled group, where the children form bonds with each other and gain many wonderful experiences.

Éva Tripsánszki
teacher

I graduated  from Brunszvik Teréz College for Early Childhood Education in Szarvas in 1988, and have been working as a kindergarten teacher ever since. My calling is also my hobby, because among children I am able to allow my creativity to unveil. I worked at a kindergarten with an artistic programme for over 20 years, therefore I find the forming and development of personality through story-telling, singing and visual expressiveness very important. I believe in education through encouragement and can say without doubt, that feeling a sense of accomplishment can work miracles in education. Seeing smiling faces and twinkling eyes are more important than anything. During my work I try to emphasize proper communication as much as I can, and therefore work on building  good relationships based on mutual respect with the parents as well as the children. I find it important to constantly refresh my professional knowledge, self-educate and adapt to the changing generations’ needs.

I joined the kindergarten this year and I hope to help the children form their personalities in a happy, supportive, accepting atmosphere, in accordance with their personal needs through differentiated pedagogy.

“Lead them, do not stray from the path,

And always stay true to yourself.

For you stand in front and can be seen from afar,

Never forget: you are an example!”

Enikő Futaki
Teacher

I graduated from Ferenc Gal University in Szarvas as an Early Childhood Educator. I became a citizen of Budapest and the 3rd district in August, when I  also became a member of Daisy Kindergarten’s wonderful staff. It is important to me that the children feel as happy as possible at the kindergarten. In order to achive this, I like to do arts and crafts, tell exciting stories and most importantly, use my smile.

Pamela Chase
English Teacher

My name is Pamela Chase and I am originally from Western Canada.

I believe that learning is a lifelong journey that should be fostered and encouraged in all learners. I feel that a group-room should be a welcoming and engaging space that encourages children to  discover the world through exploring.  Familiar routines, a fun and caring environment should be a part of learning and growth. I believe in using music, stories and creativity to engage children, as a happy and comfortable child is a confident and motivated child. I I believe in creating many opportunities to build communication in fun and encouraging ways. A sense of community within the educational environments is essential and I hope to foster that for every child in our group.

I am excited to embark on a new year with the Yellow Group at Daisy Kindergarten. I believe that we can all become a well knit group that treats each other with care, understanding and patience. My goal for this year is to ensure that each child finds  English to be fun and exciting.

Janet Gulish
English Teacher

My name is Janet and I am from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio in the United States.  I have lived in Budapest and been at Daisy Kindergarten since September 2017. My fiancé and I chose to come to Hungary because my ancestors are Hungarian.

I have been fortunate enough to be able to spend time in three different groups, with all different aged children with Green, Yellow and Blue groups. I love that each group has its own uniqueness and I have the opportunity to be a part of it.  I have enjoyed watching the children grow and learn through fun art activities we do together. But for me, the best thing about working at the kindergarten is the energy the children bring every single day.
